Washington D.C. (CNS) - Attempting to cut off illegal downloads in one of piracy's most fertile breeding grounds, the House lawmakers have proposed aggressive legislation that could potentially halt federal funding to colleges and universities whose students are caught sharing copyright material.

Somersworth Seniors plan Adopt-a-Spot

Dave has volunteered to direct the city-sponsored Adopt-a-Spot Program because of his love of flower gardening. The site was chosen because of its high visibility/high traffic location with people coming to the city via the Somersworth, NH-Berwick, Maine bridge.

Dave said the city has the materials for him to prepare the site for planting flowers. He and his significant other have all the tools necessary to do the gardening. He said he will assist the seniors in the selection of flowers to be planted. The city furnishes materials and vouchers as part of the Adopt-A-Spot program to beautify the city, Dave explained.

The senior club was allocated a $50 gift certificate to Wentworth Gardens by the City through the Adopt-A-Spot Program to choose the flowers. The senior volunteers agreed to plant the flowers Saturday, May 24, starting at 9 a.m. more
